Department of Molecular Medicine
Molecular Medicine - College of Medicine - USF-Health
Welcome to the Molecular Medicine Department at the University of South Florida Health College of Medicine.

The goal of Molecular Medicine is to understand the function of the cells, tissues, and organisms at a molecular level.  As a department we strive to create new knowledge through innovative research and to convey this knowledge to our students and research fellows through teaching, mentoring, and publications.  We are part of a vibrant and expanding USF Health Complex that includes the Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, and Public Health, the H. Lee Moffitt Comprehensive Cancer Center and Research Institute, and the Byrd Alzheimer Center and Research Institute.  A collaborative and collegial research and training environment prepares our students and trainees for a wide variety of biomedical science careers.  I invite you to explore our web site to find information on our educational and research activities, including profiles of our faculty and graduate trainees.  We are located in the culturally rich and diverse metropolitan Tampa Bay Area on the beautiful west coast of Florida.  If you are in the area, arrange a visit to learn more.
