Summer Institute for Training in Biostatistics (SIBS)

To apply for participation in the SIBS program, please do the following:

  1. Complete the on-line application form below.
  2. Arrange for an official copy of transcript send from your current college through regular mail to the SIBS Program Coordinator (see below). To expedite processing of your application, you may in addition send an unofficial copy by e-mail to sibs@health.usf.edu or by fax to (813) 974-4719.
  3. Arrange for two (2) letters of recommendation to be sent by e-mail to sibs@health.usf.edu or by fax to (813) 974-4719, or by regular mail to the SIBS Program Coordinator at the address below. At least one letter should be from a professor who is able to evaluate your academic capacity and potential. The other letter may be from a person who knows you through other activities (e.g., high school teacher, clergy, etc).

Applications are accepted starting on November 15, 2012 and ending on March 15, 2013. But early application is strongly encouraged as review of application and offer of acceptance are on a rolling basis until positions are filled. Enrollment is limited up to 12 participants.
