  • Dr. Cecilia Jevitt presented “Perinatal Obesity Prevention” at the 7th Annual USF Obesity Conference in Clearwater last Saturday.
  • Allison Edmonds, MS, ARNP College of Nursing Faculty presented an interactive discussion about obesity prevention to school children and their families from Tampa's Hope Academy.  This presentation was part of a Kids in the Kitchen event sponsored by the Junior League of Tampa at Dinner Done on Sunday April 23rd.
  • Don Kurtyka, ARNP, MS, MBA, doctoral candidate in the College of Nursing and director of medical/health administration in the College of Medicine presented "Simplifying HIV Resistance Testing" for the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care St. Louis, MO Chapter and Jacksonville, FL Chapter. 
  • Don Kurtyka also presented "HIV/AIDS: Strategies for Disease Management" at the Southeast National Primary Care Conference in Orlando, FL.
