- Dr. Cecile Jevitt has accepted an invitation to serve as the technical expert for the ACNM partnership with the AHRQ Task Order Officer.
- Dr. Linda Moody was notified that her abstract entitled: Seniors' Preferences and Needs Regarding e-Health Web Portals was accepted for oral presentation for the 2006 Eleventh Annual Meeting of the American Telemedicine Association.
- Dr. Candace Burns accepted an invitation to serve HRSA as a reviewer. She served on the panel to review grants for the Rural Outreach Program.
- Dr. Mary Evans presented a paper co-authored with Huey J. Chen and Roger Boothroyd at the 133rd Annual meeting of the American Public Health Association in Philadelphia. The title is, Caregivers’ Perception of Mental Health Needs in Children of Different Racial/Ethnic Groups.
- Nursing student, Linda Lindsay, with the mentorship of Denise Passmore and Dr. Judy Karshmer, was notified that her capstone manuscript "Does Your Patient Have a History of Bulimia? Three Long-term Implications of This Disease and Their Management in Primary Care" has been accepted for publication in the next issue of Journal for Nurse Practitioners.
- Nursing student, Yong Sue O'Donnell, with the mentorship of Denise Passmore and Dr. Judy Karshmer, was notified that her capstone manuscript, "Male and Female Differing views on Nursing: What Can We Learn from One Another?" has been accepted for publication by ADVANCE for Nurses. It is scheduled to be published in early 2006.
- Doctoral candidate, Lorraine Novosel, was notified that her dissertation research entitled "Depressive Symptomatology, Patient-Provider Communication, and Patient Satisfaction: A Multilevel Analysis" has been accepted for a poster presentation at the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners 21st National Conference, June 2006 in Gaylord, Texas.
