Welcome to the College of Nursing at the University of South Florida! The USF College of Nursing offers a wide variety of programs tailored to meet the wealth of options available to today’s Nurses. With degrees at the bachelors, masters, and doctoral level, our graduates are poised to become leaders in healthcare, education, and research. Our undergraduate degree program includes options for the traditional student as well as those looking to start a second career in Nursing.  We also offer degree programs for registered nurses with associate degrees.  At the Master’s level, students can choose from an expansive range of concentrations which may lead to a certification as a nurse practitioner, nurse educator, clinical nurse leader, or nurse anesthetist. At the doctoral level, we offer a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).  The PhD degree focuses heavily on scientific content and research methodology with the goal of preparing a nurse scientist.  The DNP is a practice-focused doctorate designed to prepare experts in specialized advanced nursing practice.
