The College of Nursing Research Center brings diverse faculty and student research interests together to contribute to health sciences research. Successfully obtained grants from the National Institutes of Health have contributed to funded research activity each year since the Nursing Research Center's inception. By setting and meeting ambitious goals that increase the number of applications for funding and the number of published peer-reviewed articles, the College continues to gain valuable prominence and national recognition.
The University of South Florida College of Nursing has achieved its highest research ranking ever from the National Institutes of Health. The College ranked 28th among nursing schools nationwide in NIH funding for 2010 – vaulting from a 66th place ranking in 2008.
