Curriculum | Admission Requirements
Admission Requirements:
Admission to the Post Masters & Certificate program is competitive and is based on the satisfactory review of all required submitted materials and on the availability of adequate classroom, clinical facilities, and faculty.
Prospective students must submit evidence of the following:
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree from a National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission (NLNAC) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited program, depending on certificate program.
  • No GRE score is required
  • Current vitae or resume
  • Current Florida RN license
  • College transcript, specifically showing degree earned
  • Certificate Program Data form
  • Graduate Certificate Department Approval Form
  • Non-degree-seeking student application
  • Attend orientation session for students new to USF, or who have not been a USF College of Nursing student within the last six semesters
  • 3 letters of reference
How to apply
Complete an online application to the College of Nursing
Submit a University of South Florida Graduate Certificate Enrollment application with a $30 check made out to the University of South Florida.
In addition, please complete the following items and mail them to the following address:

  • Submit an Immunization form.
  • Submit a current Florida RN license.
  • Submit proof of a Master in Science degree in nursing.
