Doctoral Degree Programs
The College of Nursing offers three pathways for a student to obtain a Doctoral degree:  the BS-PhD, MS-PhD and Doctorate of Nursing Practice.  The BS-PhD allows students to obtain an MS with a major in Nursing as they progress toward a PhD.  For the MS portion, students may select from the Family, Adult, Pediatrics, Oncology, or Nursing Education concentrations.  The MS-PhD is designed for Registered Nurses who have earned a Master of Science in Nursing and have an interest in nursing research.  The Doctorate of Nursing Practice or DNP is designed to prepare graduates for advanced nursing practice.
