Upper Division Admissions
Bachelor’s Degree
Application and transcripts deadlines for
the College of Nursing are October 15th for Spring Admission and
March 15th for Summer Admission.
Applicants are accepted based on overall GPA and completion of
all required prerequisites. Admission is competitive and those
with higher GPAs are more likely to gain acceptance. Upon completion
of the nursing program, graduates are eligible for registered
nurse licensure.
No admission decisions to the College of Nursing
will be made until all pre-requisite courses are completed and the
student is admitted to USF.

(Upper Level) - 6 hours of upper-level exit credits are required:
Students with a Florida Community College AA degree (other than in nursing) will be considered to have met all of the USF Liberal Arts requirements but also must meet specific college requirements. Students in Florida Community Colleges can obtain information about equivalent courses from advisors or by viewing the equivalencies at Community Colleges within the USF service area. Students are required to meet the university requirement for Foreign
language.
