Information Sessions

The College of Nursing will be conducting information sessions throughout the year at the MDN building on the Tampa campus. If you are a prospective student* interested in applying to any program in the College of Nursing, you are welcome to attend. Each session is scheduled to last one hour.

*NOTE: Information sessions are open to prospective students interesting in obtaining more information about the programs at the USF College of Nursing prior to the application process. If you are currently a student at the College of Nursing, please do not attend the information sessions. Rather, call 813-974-2191 to make an appointment with an advisor. Individual advising questions will not be answered in the information sessions. 

Parking Information:

Allow 20-30 minutes to find a parking space and walk to the College of Nursing building. You may obtain a one-day parking pass for $4.00 at a variety of spots around campus, including the USF main entrance and in every parking garage. Session Information:
  • If you are interested in receiving your bachelor’s degree in nursing (even if you have a bachelor’s degree in another field), please attend the information session for the undergraduate programs. This session covers information on the First Time in College, Upper Division, Accelerated, and RN to BS program.

  • If you are interested in receiving your master’s degree in nursing and currently have a bachelor’s in nursing or another field, please attend the information session for the graduate programs. This session covers information on all Master’s (ARNP) programs and RN to MS program.

  • If you currently hold a RN license (AS degree) only and are interested in receiving a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in nursing, you may attend either the undergraduate or graduate information session. Information on this program is covered in both sessions. 
Session Schedule:

Please review the schedule below to see which days an info session is scheduled for your program of interest. Note: the sessions begin promptly at the time specified. Attendees who arrive after the session has started should report to the Office of Student Services, Room 1002, for further instructions.
