Biographical Sketch
Dr. Vesna Vrcel, M.D., Associate Professor has been
a core USF faculty member with appointments in the
department of Interdisciplinary Oncology at Moffitt Cancer
Center and USF Pathology and Cell Biology. She graduated
medical school from the University of Belgrade and completed
pathology residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center and
SUNY Health Science Center. She also completed two
subsequent fellowships in Breast Pathology and Oncologic
Pathology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 2001
and 2002. She is board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical
Pathology.
