Biographical Sketch

     Dr. Nicole N. Esposito, MD is board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. After graduating from the University of South Florida Medical School, she completed her residency training in pathology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She went on to complete a fellowship in Breast and Gynecologic Pathology at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC. She then returned to her hometown of Tampa after accepting a position at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, where she dedicated 100% of her efforts to diagnostic breast pathology and research. She is now Chief of Breast and Gynecologic Pathology at the James A Haley VA, and works with Dr. Vesna Vrcel at the USF Breast Health Program. Dr. Esposito has numerous breast-related peer-reviewed journal publications, and has authored several chapters in leading pathology textbooks Dr. Esposito is also a member of the HER2 testing bureau, and gives regular talks to the community regarding accurate HER2 testing.
