News & Events, 2009

November, 2009:

The Hooked on Hope fishing tournament held October 9-10, 2009,  was a great success.  A community of patients, friends and supporters raised $50,000 to support the USF Breast Health program.  This was the result of a relentless effort by local Capt. Lori Deaton who organized the “Hooked on Hope” fishing tournament. In keeping with the nautical theme, the fisherwomen and men presented the money Sunday Nov 8, 5pm, at Gaspars Grotto in Ybor City.
