Clinical Services:
Diagnosis, management and clinical evaluation by a multi-disciplinary team for infants, children and adolescents with the following acute and chronic renal diseases:
Hematuria; proteinuria; hypertension; glomerular diseases, including acute and chronic glomerulonephritis and glomerulopathies of systemic diseases; primary and secondary nephrotic syndrome; tubular interstitial nephritis; urinary tract infections; voiding dysfunction and neurogenic bladder; vesicoureteral reflux; urolithiasis and nephrocalcinosis; tubular disorders, including renal tubular acidosis, Fanconi syndrome, disorders of tubular transport of calcium, phosphorous, sodium and potassium; nephrogenic diabetes insipidus; hydronephrosis, congenital and acquired; cystic disease of the kidney, including polycystic kidney disease, medullary; cystic disease, cystic dysplasia; acute and chronic renal failure; renal disease in the newborn; management of fluids and electrolytes abnormalities

  • Renal biopsy
  • Acute and chronic modes of dialysis, including hemo and peritoneal
  • Hemo perfusion
  • Hemofiltration including CAVH and CVVH
  • Patient education and teaching by multi-disciplinary team including nephrologists, dietician, nurses, social worker and psychologist 24-hour blood pressure monitoring
