Education

  • MD, American University Of Beirut, 1982

Interdisciplinary and Emerging Signature Programs

  • Other

Research Interests

  • My clinical research covers a wide area of outcomes after bariatric surgery and emerging technology for the treatment of diabetes and obesity
  • My lab research efforts are focused on an animal model of obesity and the molecular mechanism of diabetes and obesity; we are seeking answers that will lead to drug discovery and thereby translate into clinical protocol and cutting edge medicine
