Signature Interdisciplinary Programs

As part of efforts to enhance research, the USFCOM has created four Signature Research Programs, and has identified several emerging areas of interest. The Signature Programs were launched during June 2006 to support the goals of USF Health for expanded research capacity and graduate and postdoctoral education. Seed funding has been provided to support these programs, and new faculty recruitment to the COM will focus on those with interest in these programs, allowing us to build a 'critical' mass of scholars in these fields.

The Signature Programs and emerging areas of interest will transcend collegiate boundaries and involve scholars from throughout USF and the Tampa Bay Region. We enthusiastically invite you and your students, fellows and staff, and others in Tampa Bay who may be interested to join one or more of these endeavors.
