Anna Jones graduated in May 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology with a minor in child and family development from the University of Georgia, in Athens, GA. In the past, she has worked extensively under the direction of Dr. Cynthia Suveg as a part of the Child and Family Emotions Lab at the University of Georgia on research aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of emotion-focused cognitive behavioral therapy in children with anxiety disorders.
She currently works under the direction of Dr. Eric Storch on many studies being conducted at the Rothman Center. Her primary research interests focus on treatment outcome for children and adults with anxiety disorders, particularly generalized anxiety disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder. In addition, she is interested in variables contributing to the development and maintenance of co-morbid anxiety and depressive disorders.
