Clinical Interests

  • The Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology was founded in 1984 at All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida by Dr. Robert Good. The Division includes clinical programs that encompass primary and secondary immune deficiency diseases, pediatric and adult allergy, and pediatric rheumatology.
  • Our allergists treat diseases including rhinitis, asthma, sinusitus, hives, eczema, and allergies to medications, foods, insects or latex. Our immunologists treat patients with primary immunodeficiency syndromes, immunoglobulin subclass deficiencies, hyper IgE syndrome, complement deficiencies, pediatric HIV, and a wide range of other immunologic problems. We also offer hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for severe immune deficiency diseases. Our rheumatologists treat patients with systemic lupus erythematosis and juvenile idiopathic arthritis, vasculitis and other autoimmune conditions. Clinics are located in St. Petersburg, Sarasota and Tampa. The Allergy, Immunology AND Rheumatology Division provides a full range of diagnostic services, and also offers infusion therapy services in conjunction with All Children's Hospital.
  • The Division is currently involved in several federal, state and privately funded research projects focusing on environmental allergies, immunologic conditions and HIV. The Division's laboratory is located on the fourth floor of the Children's Research Institute. The Division is also home of the only Pediatric Allergy and Immunology Fellowship Training Program in Florida.
