Janet Sullivan, AuD

Janet Sullivan is an Instructor in the Division of Neonatology, Department of Pediatrics at the University of South Florida.  Dr. Sullivan completed her BA in Psychology from Boston University, later followed by an MS and AuD degree from the University of South Florida.  Dr. Sullivan is Director of theNewborn Hearing Screening Program at Tampa General Hospital.  

Clinical Interests

Dr. Sullivan's clinical interests include differential diagnosis of auditory impairment in infants, development of the auditory pathways, and neonatal electroencephalography.  She is also interested in quality improvement in newborn hearing screening programs. 

Research and Scholarly Interests

Dr. Sullivan's current research focus is the development of auditory function in preterm infants, and the idenitifcation of risk factors for various types of hearing loss in infancy.
