Pediatric Division of Neonatology

The Division of Neonatology at the University of South Florida College of Medicine manages the clinical care of neonates, teaches fellows, residents and medical students, and conducts research.

The Division members attend high risk deliveries, provide 24-hour care for premature and critically ill newborns and infants, support a critical care transport team, and an extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) team, and a whole body cooling team to manage infants with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy. USF Neonatology is a participant in the Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative, whose mission is to improve Florida's maternal and infant health outcomes through assuring quality perinatal care for all of Florida's women and infants.
