Allergy & Immunology Fellowship Program
The Allergy and Immunology Training Program at All Children's Hospital/University of South Florida (USF/ACH) has been accredited by the ACGME since 1988. This highly successful program has provided an in-depth, enriched, and complementary education to our fellows-in-training in Allergy and Immunology. Every year, 2-4 fellows are trained in our fellowship program and, to date, we have had 50 graduates from the program. Two years of training are required for eligibility to take the American Board of Allergy and Immunology certification examination. The program also offers a third year of training in research or in laboratory immunology.
The Allergy/Immunology Training Program, under of the USF Department of Pediatrics, is affiliated with All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida and the Allergy/Immunology Training Program in the USF Department of Internal Medicine in Tampa, FL.
| All Children's Hospital, a 216-bed teaching hospital, consists of more than 150 pediatric specialists and subspecialists who service over 40 medical and surgical specialty divisions providing state-of-the-art care for children. There are 72 pediatric residents in training at this time at All Children's Hospital. | The Allergy/Immunology Training Program in the USF Department of Internal Medicine is located at the James A. Haley Veterans Administration Medical Center in Tampa, Florida . This program, under the direction of Dr. Richard F. Lockey, has offered broad-based, accredited, 2-year fellowship training since 1976. |
