Ronald McDonald Care Mobile

Delivering cost-effective medical and dental care directly to underserved children in their own neighborhoods.

In February 2006, University of South Florida (USF) Department of Pediatrics partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tampa Bay to bring a Ronald McDonald Care Mobile™ (RMCM) Program to the Tampa Bay area. The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile™ (RMCM) is a 40-foot mobile medical and dental office, specifically built and equipped to deliver health services to at-risk children in the communities where they live. As of December 2007, the RMCM operated by USF Pediatrics and RMHC of Tampa Bay was one of only 32 Care Mobiles operational worldwide.
