Pallavi Iyer, M.D.
Dr. Iyer joined the faculty at the University of South Florida in 2009 after finishing her fellowship in pediatric endocrinology. She received her MD degree from the Ohio State University, and completed her pediatric residency and served as a chief-resident at the University of South Florida. Dr. Iyer has been a camp physician for several years at the Florida Camp for Children and Youth with Diabetes Pee Wee Camp. The majority of her time is dedicated to providing clinical care to patients and families at All Children's Hospital and the outpatient clinic. She enjoys teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Dr. Iyer has a variety of interests related to endocrinology including diabetes, and disorders of the pituitary, thyroid, puberty, and calcium metabolism.

Scholarly Activity
Dr. Iyer is a sub-investigator for a phase III study at Tampa General Hospital that is investigating the impact of Diamyd in patients newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
