Karolina Dembinski, D.O.

Dr. Karolina Dembinski joined the USF faculty as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in 2010 after completing her pediatric residency at the University of South Florida. She earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, where she majored in nutritional sciences and minored in zoology, and her D.O. from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.  Dr. Dembinski's extracurricular activities have involved the arts in medicine, environmental awareness, as well as advocacy and serving indigent populations.  She participated in medical mission trips to Haiti, Costa Rica, and Kenya & Liberia, Africa.  During her residency, she served as Chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Florida Chapter, Section on Medical Students, Residents and Fellowship Trainees.  Her clinical interests include medical education, hospitalist medicine, as well as wellness and chronic disease management in a holistic/integrative manner.

  • Dr. Dembinski is currently working with other faculty and residents on a Community Access to Child Health (CATCH) grant:  Adolescent Obesity-Peer Mentor Program
