Sureka Bollepalli, M.D.

Dr. Bollepalli joined the USF faculty in July 2010 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics.  Dr. Bollepalli graduated from St. George's University School of Medicine in 2003, and completed her pediatric residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, where she served as chief resident during her final year.  She completed her fellowship training in endocrinology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital in 2009. 

Dr. Bollepalli's clinical and research interests focus on the the natural history, prevention and treatment of type 1 diabetes.  She has published articles related to obesity, the growth of infants of diabetic mothers, and neonatal thyroid disease.
