Healthy Weight Clinic

The USF Healthy Weight Clinic is an exciting new multi-disciplinary clinic for children, adolescents, and adults, who are either underweight or overweight. Dr. Denise Edwards, Director, is an Internist and Pediatrician. Dr. Edwards is Board Certified in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine, and is able to see children and adults for Primary Care as well as Weight Management. Dr. Diane Straub, Co-Director, is an Adolescent Specialist.

The clinic provides a comprehensive, family-based approach to children and adolescents who have a variety of eating disorders ranging from anorexia and bulimia to obesity. In addition to the medical evaluation, each patient has access to a nutritionist, psychologist, and physical therapist. Located at the USF Health South Tampa Center the clinic is available on a weekly basis.
