Medical Acupuncture

USF’s Medical Acupuncture program is available to both pediatric and adult patients. Medical Acupuncture is the term used to describe acupuncture performed by a doctor licensed and trained in traditional Western medicine, who also has thorough training in acupuncture as a specialty practice.

As one of the oldest and most commonly used medical procedures in the world, medical acupuncture enhances recuperative power and immunity to promote natural healing and improves the overall physical and emotional wellbeing of the patient. Typically, it is used for the treatment of pain and for a wide number of ailments and conditions.
