Tim Olsen, MS, ATC, PES

Tim Olsen is a certified athletic trainer (ATC) at the Sports Medicine and Athletic Related Trauma (SMART) Institute. He currently serves as the ATC for Sunlake High School.

Tim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from the Lynchburg College in 2007, and in 2008, he obtained a Master of Science degree in athletic training from California University of Pennsylvania. While pursuing his degrees, Tim spent time as an athletic trainer at high school, clinical, and collegiate settings.

While pursuing his Master’s degree he also obtained certifications as a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), as well as a Speed and Explosion Specialist (SES). Tim had spent the past 2 years working at a high school in Virginia before becoming a member of the S.M.A.R.T. team. He also has volunteered his time for the Special Olympics.

Originally from Collingswood, NJ he now resides in Land O’ Lakes, FL. When not working, Tim likes to spend his free time golfing, working out, and going to the beach.
