Resident Research Day

Every year in June, the Department holds a Resident Research Day where the third and fourth year residents present the results of their research project. The resident selects their project in the fall, works with a faculty member on their project then prepares a paper and ten minute presentation for the June program. Their presentations are judged by a faculty committee with the winner receiving a cash prize along with the honor of having their name added to a plaque alongside past recipients.

Each year, we invite a visiting professor to critique the presentations and give a lecture at the end of the program. Some of the visiting professors in past years include:
