Application Process
The University of South Florida participants in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) from the Association of American Medical Colleges, and the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). We will accept applications by electronic filing only. You may obtain detailed information on how to apply by contacting your Dean's Office or the ECFMG or by visiting the AAMC-ERAS Website. When completing your application, please be sure to request electronic transmission of your licensure test scores. Additionally, please be sure to update your electronic application with any changes of address, telephone number, or other important changes or honors received.
Because of the large number of applications we receive, it is necessary that interviews are by invitation only. Interviews are normally done on 4-5 dates during the months of November, December, and January.

- USMLE Step I results
- We strongly encourage our students to take the USMLE Step II as early in your fourth year as possible. There is no minimum score, however it is competitive so a better score will be more advantageous (International Medical Graduates will require Steps I, II and III.)
- Three letters of recommendation of your choosing
- Medical School Transcript
- Dean's Letter
