Dr. Imudia received his undergraduate and medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of Latina University in Panama City, Panama. He then completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at Wayne State University / Detroit Medical Center, where he received multiple awards before undergoing fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Massachusetts General Hospital / Harvard Medical School.
Prior to joining the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of South Florida, Dr. Imudia did extensive research in the characterization of ovarian stem cells with Dr. Jonathan Tilly and hopes to pioneer the use of this technology as a fertility preservation option in patients undergoing cancer treatment. He has published multiple peer-reviewed articles in all aspect of women's health and has presented his work in many national and international conferences.
He is committed to delivering compassionate and personalized care to his patients using the latest advancements in diagnosis and treatment. He has special interest in the optimization of obstetrical outcomes in pregnancies resulting from in vitro fertilization through the application of elective single embryo transfer and more controlled ovarian stimulation protocols, treatment of fibroids and endometriosis through minimally invasive surgical techniques.
Dr. Imudia is an active member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
