Current research endeavors at USF IVF involve a variety of clinical and scientific initiatives. Clinically, we are currently participating in a multi-center trial of a novel oral GnRH antagonist in the treatment of endometriosis. In the near future we will be starting recruiting as the only Florida-based academic center in a multi-center trial exploring the best way to manage persistent pregnancies of unknown location (i.e. we know that the pregnancy is not viable, but are not able to determine if the pregnancy is in the uterus or is an ectopic pregnancy. We are also working with Dr. Judette Louis’s team in the Maternal Fetal Medicine Division to launch a study on sleep apnea in women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.

USF IVF is active in a variety of reproductive endocrine research directions. At USF and at prior institutions, our team has published on embryo transfer technique, predicting embryo implantation, the role of elevated estrogen in IVF outcomes, fertility preservation, preimplantation genetic diagnosis, ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination, fibroids, minimally invasive surgery techniques, and management of pregnancy of unknown location.

Below are a list of publications available through PUBMED, that USF IVF team members have been involved in over the past decade.
