Education

  • MD, University Of Western Ontario, 1982

Academic Philosophy

"Our philosophy is to lead in developing and applying the latest medical advances to improve patient access to outstanding infertility care. We strive to instill in our residents a passion for learning and in depth knowledge of our field."

Interdisciplinary and Emerging Signature Programs

  • Women & Children's Health

Research Interests

  • On the social side, our current research involves identifying factors that influence patients' decisions about seeking infertility care, and what kind of treatment they undertake. We seek to expand the availability of infertility treatment, by reducing the number of embryos transferred, in order to decrease the risk of multiple gestation. On the biological side, we have an interest in identifying factors that lead to an optimal embryo transfer technique. Currently, we are looking at the effects of progesterone on embryo development, and implications of these effects on embryo transfer technique.
