Biographical Sketch
Dr. Jevitt is a certified nurse-midwife and Assistant Professor with the USF College of Nursing, where she teaches women's health, health care policy and economics, ethical and legal aspects of practice and practice management.
Her research specialty is obesity management and prevention in women's health. She has also done research in midwifery workforce issues and liability.
Dr. Jevitt has a dual appointment with the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and sees patients at the USF Clinics. She has practiced full scope midwifery in the Tampa Bay Area for more than 20 years.
