Biographical Sketch

 Dr. Shelly Holmstrom is a native Floridian. After earning her MD from the University of Florida, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. Dr. Holmstrom was an assistant professor in ob/gyn at Mercer University School of Medicine (Savannah campus) for two years following residency. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She is the past junior fellow chair of district IV of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). Dr. Holmstrom is the junior fellow advisor for the Florida section of ACOG.
