Biographical Sketch
Dr. Hoffman is the Senior Member and Professor and Director of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology and its fellowship training program at the University of South Florida. He has been a full-time faculty member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Gynecologic Oncology at USF since completing his fellowship in 1987. From 1987 to 1999 he was Director of Medical Student Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is the author or co-author of one textbook, over 180 articles in scientific journals, and 13 textbook chapters. His primary clinical activity includes the surgical management of ovarian, uterine, cervical, and vulvar cancer, and the surgical management of pelvic organ prolapse. Dr. Hoffman has been an examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2000. Doctor Hoffman is a member of the American Gynecologic and Obstetrical Society, the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, the Society of Pelvic Surgeons, the South Atlantic Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
