Biography
Dr. Uribe received his medical degree from the Instituto de Ciencias de la Salud and completed his residency at Hospital San Vicente de Paul, both in Medellin, Columbia. In addition, Dr. Uribe's education includes an internship at the University of Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital and residency at the University of South Florida. He advanced his experience and skill level by a Clinical Spine Fellowship at the University of Miami.
His comprehensive approach to spine care and management focuses on minimally invasive surgical techniques. Also he uses advanced less disruptive technique on complex spine conditions including scoliosis, trauma and tumor.
He has a busy clinical practice which includes the treatment of numerous spinal disorders including but not limited to degenerative spine diseases, spinal trauma, rheumatoid arthritis, tumors, Chiari malformations, syrinxes, etc. The latest technology is available within the operating rooms including complex spinal instrumentation, artificial cervical discs, spinal cord monitoring and minimally invasive spine surgery.
