Bio Sketch

Dr. Sauvageau joined the USF Department of Neurosurgery in 2006. He specializes in the treatment of cerebrovascular disorders such as cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformation (AVM), arteriovenous fistulae and cerebrovascular occlusive diseases. With his unique training he can offer a comprehensive treatment of various neurosurgical pathologies either offering conventional surgery or a less invasive catheter based endovascular treatment. His interest also includes brain tumors. Dr. Sauvageau heads the Neuro-Endovascular Program for the Department of Neurosurgery and the training of these procedures to the resident physicians.
