The Cahill Spine Symposium

David W. Cahill, M.D. was an internationally renowned neurosurgeon of “alarming intelligence” noted for his teaching and his innovation in spinal instrumentation.

His contributions to the field of neurosurgery are recorded in more than 100 published articles and books. He was loved by his residents, respected by his colleagues, and feared by any who attempted to challenge his breadth and depth of knowledge. He is remembered as a consummate surgeon, devoted to family and patients.

The Cahill Symposium is designed for practicing physicians in neurosurgery, neurology, spine surgery and nurses/physician assistants who are interested in the most recent treatment options, emerging therapies and clinical trials for the care, treatment and management of the spine.

Distinguished invited and USF faculty present information on surgical aspects, conventional therapy, underlying physiology of targeted therapy, and clinical trials.
