About Tampa

Tampa was named one of the most diverse, integrated urban areas in the United States by the US Census Bureau. There are plenty of museums and attractions in the Greater Tampa Bay area to occupy your free time such as Busch Gardens, The Florida Aquarium, Lowry Park Zoo, and The Glazer Children’s Museum. You can also take advantage of Tampa’s ideal location and take a day trip Orlando’s famed theme parks like the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Islands of Adventure.

Of course who can forget our beaches? Clearwater boasts a stretch of sugar white sand that receives national recognition. From adrenaline filled water sport activities including jet skiing, parasailing, boating and sport fishing to causal and fine dining there is an endless supply of entertainment and beauty.

Tampa is home to 3 professional sports teams: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, The Tampa Bay Rays and the Tampa Bay Lightning. Plus, MLB Spring training brings the New York Yankees, the Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates and the Toronto Blue Jays to the area. We also have a Minor League Baseball Team, the Tampa Yankees, and a North American Soccer League, the Tampa Bay Rowdies.
