The University of South Florida Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center is a large, academic center serving much of West and Central Florida. The Parkinson's Disease Program is comprised of a highly active, nationally-recognized multi-disciplinary patient care team, and has a long history of clinical research and a strong commitment to community outreach.
Our center was established in 1987 and has been under the direction of Dr. Robert Hauser since 1988. Dr. Theresa Zesiewicz began her fellowship at our center in 1993, is curently an Associate Professor with USF. Our staff is comprised of two leading neurologists, a nurse practitioner, Theresa McClain and a team of medical professionals that are dedicated to the care of patients affected by Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders.
