Dr. Zesiewicz has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and is the Director of the USF Ataxia Research Center and the founder of the Frances J. Zesiewicz Foundation and Center for Parkinson's Disease. She has expertise in Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, ataxia, and dystonia, and specializes in pharmacologicaland surgical management of movement disorders. Dr. Zesiewicz has pioneered new therapies for several movement disorders, including ataxia. She is a member of the Quality Standards Subcommittee of the American Academy of neurology.
