Research Interests

  • My research interests encompass all aspects of biomolecular recognition processes, including but not limited to enzymology, conformational dynamics, and protein-protein interactions. Available structural, chemical, and kinetic information are used as a rationale basis for designing experimental approaches to answer key questions regarding the way in which enzymes work, and how they might be modified or targeted for beneficial therapeutic or industrial applications. We utilize an extensive variety of molecular biological and spectroscopic tools, and collaborate freely with many other researchers located all over the world.
