Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Business in Medicine

This concentration explores principles of the business aspects of medicine. This knowledge will enable participation in medical and healthcare business enterprises and in development of innovative models for delivery of healthcare and medical therapeutics. This background will allow the student to potentially become active in management of the clinical practice of medicine.

Curriculum

Monthly meetings will occur and will include topics such as the healthcare system, medicine and the law, healthcare economics and innovation and entrepreneurship. These topics will be delivered by experts in the field including leaders of academic institutions and relevant healthcare companies.
