Tuition and Fees
The amount of tuition and fees for medical students is subject to change from year to year as established by the Florida State Legislature and the USF Board of Trustees. Specific fee information may be obtained after July 1st each year by going to this link: http://health.usf.edu/medicine/registrar/new/tuition.htm
Financial Aid, in the form of loans and scholarships, is available to students with demonstrated need. Generally, students of the USF Morsani College of Medicine are not permitted to work during their enrollment, therefore employment is not part of any student's financial aid package.
The loans and scholarships available to medical students are almost exclusively federal funds therefore subject to rather strict federal guidelines with regard to qualifications. With few exceptions, financial aid programs are awarded based on financial need and intended to provide payment of tuition and fees, books and supplies, room and board and personal expenses. The cost of attendance for each year of medical school varies because the length of each year of medical school differs.
