Teaching Experience
Teaching of Residents
- Rheumatology fellows will assist in educating the internal medicine residents rotating through Rheumatology in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Rheumatology fellows on the consultative services will educate the housestaff through their consultations as well as providing pertinent literature
- Rheumatology fellows will be assigned to lecture to the internal medicine house staff 2 to 3 times per year
Teaching of Medical students
- Rheumatology fellows will have a 4th year medical student rotating through the mandatory Skin and Bones Clerkship observing during one weekly clinic
- Rheumatology fellows will participate as evaluators for the rheumatology OSCE for the 4th year medical student Skin and Bones Clerkship
- Rheumatology fellows will participate in the 1st and 2nd year medical student Musculoskeletal Section of the Physical Diagnosis Course

Online training modules include the following: iving effective feedback, Evaluation: Making it work, integrating the Learner, The One Minute Preceptor and the Difficult Learning Situation. The modules are a mandatory requirement for the fellowship
