Kristy Andre is the Assistant Program Director for USF Medicine International, for which she manages the public relations efforts and international programs. In addition, she provides support to the Director and Associate Dean on the development, execution, and assessment of the international programs. She also coordinates the International Medicine Scholarly Concentration.
Prior to joining USF Medicine International, Ms. Andre worked predominantly with nonprofit organizations in a variety of capacities. The majority of her work was in grant writing, fund development and public relations. Through her work she has provided education for teen moms, shelters for homeless families, legal aid for Hispanic immigrants and human trafficking victims, college prep mentoring for kids who are the first in their families to go to college, arts intervention for juvenile offenders, grassroots training for people who want to improve their community, nonprofit development training to people in Latin America and Haiti, and nonviolence training to people across the world.
She completed her Master of Science in Management: Leadership and Organization Effectiveness with an emphasis on designing sustainable enterprises from the University of South Florida in 2011. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy & Management from the University of South Florida.
