Biographical Sketch

Dr. Jamie P. Morano is an Assistant Professor of Medicine for the Division of Infectious Disease & International Medicine. Dr. Morano obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Politics and East Asian Studies from Princeton University followed by a Fullbright scholarship in Hong Kong. Dr. Morano received her medical degree from the University of Tennessee, Memphis, which is her home town. She completed a Masters in Public Health at Harvard University, with emphasis in biostatistics and epidemiology.

Dr. Morano completed her internal medicine residency at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. After completing her fellowship training in infectious diseases at Yale University School of Medicine in 2013, Dr. Morano joined the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine Division of Infectious Disease & International Medicine.

Dr. Morano is fluent in English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese.
