The Tampa Bay Geriatric Society was established by Dr. Vincent Perron on January, 2007.
Mission:
The Tampa Bay Geriatric Society is a group of geriatric health care professionals, including USF Faculty, ARNP's and private physicians in the community who are interested in improving the health, independence and quality of life of seniors in our community.
Goals:
- To conduct educational programs for health professionals including private physicians, geriatric fellows, residents and students of USF College of Medicine.
- To develop and promote quality interdisiciplinary geriatric care.
- To be a resource for community physicians and to promote dialogue and interaction between community physicians and the faculty at the University of South Florida.
