Current Clinical Research Unit Studies


The Clinical Research Unit has experience in phase II, III and IV, adult and pediatric clinical trials. The Division’s Clinical Research Unit provides quality research in a variety of clinical areas. Our current studies include the following:

  • allergen immunotherapy               
  • allergen skin testing                      
  • allergic rhinitis                                          
  • COPD                            
  • asthma- adult and pediatric          
  • chronic urticaria   
  • bronchitis                                                                        
  • exercise induced asthma
  • hereditary angioedema    
  • nasal polyps
  • c-pap effect on airway hyperactivity
  • use of oscillometry in adults
  • use of oscillometry in children
  • hereditary angioedema                                                                                      

The funds generated from such studies are used to support our 3-year research and training program in Allergy and Clinical Immunology.


Studies are usually looking for participants ages 6 years and older for asthma and allergy trials and 40 years and older for COPD trials.
